"When you were born, your parents thought you were PERFECT." Says Danny. "You drank milk perfectly. You pooped your diapers perfectly. You burped perfectly. You farted perfectly. You cried perfectly. You giggled perfectly. You were, in short, the most perfect baby ever - without even trying!"
How did you go from being the Perfect Kid to The Imperfect Kid?
How did you go from doing everything perfectly, to being an ImPerfect Kid who can never be Good Enough?
"Blame the Competition," says Danny. "The problem with parents is, they're always comparing you with other kids. And that sort of thing can lead to disappointment...Unless you're smarter and better-looking than all of your friends, as I am..."
How can You stop being The ImPerfect Kid and be Perfect again?
12-year old Danny knows the secret - and he's about to share it with you!

The Imperfect Kid edition by Ann Writes Children eBooks Reviews
A very lighthearted and hilarious book. The protagonist has an amazing perspective and his imagination knows no bounds! Great for a light read and kids
This book had me laughing in minutes of reading it. I'm glad I read it, its a great perspective from a 12 year old's point of view.
A fun read! Follow Danny's journey as he tries to work out the rules for being a perfect kid. I especially loved his take on the Average Kid - have you ever met him? What is his name? So funny.
"The ImPerfect kid" is a masterful essay on irony! Only Richmal Cromptom's series "William the just" come close to be as fun and entertaining as this book! I specially enjoyed the satirical views of life on modern Japan! It is a hilarious but thoughtful book and makes you reflect about the inner life of your child. I strongly suggest this book as a relaxing reading which will induce you to laugh but also to reflect.
The world is a crazy, crazy place when seen through the eyes of twelve year old! Especially a twelve year old always on the look-out for the dreaded Average Child who is hell-bent on ruining the other kids' fun. You know, 'The Average Child' spends 5 hours a day playing video games.... When parents hear that, they suddenly take away your game privileges. Makes life very rough for the rest of the kids! Travel, museum trips, school, ComicCons and more, our hero navigates the adult world with, well, his survival skills. Lots of laugh out loud moments and food for thought.
This is an awesome and hilarious read. See life and parenting and childhood through the eyes of a twelve year old. I laughed out loud throughout the book. It's a must-read!
This book was a fun read. From the opening you get a good sense of Danny, and how he sees the world. Nothing quite goes right, and in the end he learns that it's okay to be less than perfect. Heartwarming message.
